Vivo India Elevates Geetaj Channana As Chief Corporate Communications Officer

Vivo India has promoted Geetaj Channana to the role of Chief Corporate Communications Officer, further strengthening its leadership team. In his new position, Channana will head the company’s corporate communications function and oversee its overall communications strategy.

Channana has been associated with Vivo India for more than six years. Before this elevation, he served as Head of Corporate Communications, where he was responsible for leading the brand’s communication strategy, managing media relations, overseeing crisis communication efforts and driving corporate social responsibility initiatives.

Prior to joining Vivo, Channana worked as Vice President – Technology Communications at MSL, Publicis Groupe, where he managed communication strategies for several technology-focused brands.

Earlier in his career, he held roles at 20:20 MSL and Text100 (now Archetype), leading integrated communications programmes and digital campaigns for multiple clients.

Channana also brings experience from the media industry, having worked in editorial roles with organisations such as NDTV Convergence, 9.9 Media, Mindworks Global Media Services, TV Today, and IDG Media.

With more than two decades of experience spanning corporate communications, public relations, journalism and digital strategy, Channana has built extensive expertise across the media, technology and communications sectors.
