Zee Entertainment Appoints Sandeep Mehrotra As COO – Advertisement Revenue

Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. has announced the appointment of Sandeep Mehrotra as Chief Operating Officer – Advertisement Revenue, effective 3 February 2026.

In his new role, Mehrotra will focus on strengthening and expanding Zee’s advertising revenue streams by harnessing the growing convergence between its linear television and digital platforms. He will be based at the company’s Mumbai headquarters and will report directly to Punit Goenka, Chief Executive Officer, Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd.

As part of the leadership structure, Laxmi Shetty will continue to head the advertisement revenue vertical as Head – Advertisement Revenue, Broadcast & Digital, with an emphasis on accelerating revenue growth under Mehrotra’s strategic leadership.

Mehrotra brings extensive experience in managing large-scale profit and loss portfolios, multi-brand monetisation strategies, and enterprise-level growth across complex consumer-driven organisations. Prior to joining Zee, he was associated with Culver Max Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. (formerly Sony Pictures Networks India) as Head of Advertisement Sales – Network Channels.

With this appointment, Zee aims to further strengthen its advertising monetisation framework and accelerate long-term, diversified revenue growth across platforms.’
