Alvarez & Marsal has promoted Nachiketa Joshi to the role of Managing Director, recognising his leadership and impact in advising investors and portfolio companies on complex transactions, operational transformations, and performance improvement initiatives.
In his elevated position, Joshi continues to work closely with private equity funds and management teams on high-impact mandates, including commercial due diligence, restructuring strategy, and execution-led transformation programmes. Having progressed from Director – Private Equity to Senior Director, he has been instrumental in delivering large-scale, results-driven assignments across sectors.
Prior to joining Alvarez & Marsal, Joshi spent over a decade at GenNx360 Capital Partners India Advisors, where he played a key role in investment assessment, portfolio monitoring, and turnaround execution, building a strong foundation in hands-on value creation.
Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles at EY as Assistant Director, contributing to transaction advisory and restructuring engagements, and began his professional journey as an Analyst at Wachovia Securities (now Wells Fargo).
An alumnus of NMIMS, Joshi brings together financial discipline, operational insight, and deep restructuring experience, positioning him as a trusted advisor to private equity investors and leadership teams navigating complex business challenges.
