Sony Pictures Networks India has announced the appointment of Ankur Shrivastava as Associate Vice President, with effect from December 2025. Based in Bengaluru, Shrivastava will oversee revenue planning and optimisation for the South region across the network’s Hindi general entertainment channels.
In his new role, Shrivastava will focus on strengthening advertising revenues, nurturing key client and agency partnerships, shaping regional business strategies, and closely monitoring market dynamics and competitive trends. His responsibilities also include driving growth through effective sales planning and contribution management across the southern markets.
Before joining Sony Pictures Networks India, Shrivastava was part of JioStar, where he served as Director and led integrated media solutions sales. Prior to that, he spent close to seven years at Viacom18 Media in various leadership roles, including Director, Senior Manager and Manager, contributing to revenue growth for the Colors network across both fiction and non-fiction content.
Earlier in his career, Shrivastava worked with Star TV Network, handling advertising sales for the Hindi Movies portfolio. He has also held roles at Reliance Broadcast Network’s 92.7 Big FM and UBM India, gaining experience across media sales, marketing and client partnerships.
With his extensive background across television, radio and integrated media solutions, Shrivastava’s appointment is expected to further strengthen Sony Pictures Networks India’s revenue leadership in the South region.
