Kavita Khandelwal has announced the next step in her professional journey, revealing that she has joined Zee News as Regional Head. She shared the update through a LinkedIn post, marking a transition after a significant stint with Republic Media.
Expressing her thoughts on the move, Khandelwal wrote, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Regional Head at ZEE News! Five memorable years at Republic Media come to an end. Grateful for the learning, friendships, and support from my Boss,my colleagues and HR. As I step into a new journey with Zee News, I carry these experiences forward with pride and gratitude.”
Before joining Zee News, Khandelwal was associated with Republic World, where she most recently served as Chief Marketing Manager. Her tenure at the organisation spanned over four years, beginning in 2021 when she joined as Marketing Manager. Over the years, she took on increasing responsibilities, moving into senior leadership roles within the organisation.
Khandelwal brings with her a strong background in media sales and marketing. Prior to Republic Media, she held roles at Today Network Ltd as Deputy Manager – Sales, Dainik Bhaskar Group as Deputy Manager – Marketing, and Dainik Jagran as Assistant Marketing Manager.
With her extensive experience across leading media houses, Khandelwal’s appointment is expected to further strengthen Zee News’ regional leadership and strategic growth.
