Motive has appointed Ed Starr as its new SVP of Market and Business Development, where he will focus on the agency’s growth strategy, diversification efforts, and expansion into new categories.
Most recently, Ed served as the Managing Partner of integrated creative marketing agency BMF. Under his leadership, they produced hundreds of programs last year alone, including many international activations across 19 countries. His ethos is rooted in creating award-winning, multi-channel programs that earn attention, inspire cultural participation, and deliver meaningful ROI by humanizing brands in unexpected ways.
Ed’s background positions him to play a significant role in Motive’s continued evolution. While he has deep expertise in brand experience, his track record extends well beyond experiential—shaping integrated campaigns that drive measurable business outcomes. He also brings a robust network of longstanding client and industry relationships.
