Bank of America has appointed Vikram Sahu as the Chief Executive Officer for its India operations, following the approval of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), as shared in an internal communication. With close to twenty years of global leadership experience in equity research and financial markets, Vikram brings extensive expertise spanning Asia, the United States, and Europe.
Throughout his career, he has led high-performing research teams, shaped strategic market insights, and driven key analytical initiatives across international financial hubs. Prior to this role, Vikram served as Global Head of Equity Research at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, and earlier as APAC Head of Equity Research.
Before joining Bank of America, he spent more than 14 years at Goldman Sachs, advancing to the position of Asia-South Head of Research, and previously worked as Co-Lead, Tactical Research in London. His wide-ranging global exposure and deep understanding of financial markets position him strongly to guide Bank of America’s India business amid a rapidly shifting economic and regulatory environment.
