Anita Kotwani Steps Down From Dentsu After Five-Year Leadership Tenure

Dentsu has announced the departure of Anita Kotwani from her role as Chief Client Officer, South Asia, marking the end of a five-year journey with the network. Kotwani has chosen to pursue new avenues in her professional career.

Since joining dentsu in 2020, Kotwani has been a key leader across the Media business, contributing to teams at Carat, iProspect, dentsu X, Sokrati, Posterscope and Amplifi. Her work centred on enhancing capabilities, accelerating new business momentum, and strengthening partnerships across markets. In her latest mandate, she played an instrumental role in elevating client engagement and operational performance.

During her tenure, dentsu India’s Media practice achieved a 10% rise in billings, secured 80 new brand wins in 2024, and launched pivotal initiatives such as Retail Media, Performance Practice 2.0, Total Commerce and Spark. She also contributed significantly to the Media++ integration program across the network.

The organisation has activated a structured transition plan to maintain seamless service for clients across South Asia.
