Spotify has strengthened its India leadership lineup with the appointment of Tanmaya Trivedi as Director of Sales, marking an important step in the company’s continued growth across the market. Trivedi announced his move in a LinkedIn post, sharing his excitement about joining the global audio streaming giant.
Trivedi brings with him more than 20 years of experience in consultative sales and marketing. Over the course of his career, he has built and scaled high-performing teams, driven monetisation strategies, and led business development across major industries.
Prior to Spotify, he spent over a decade at Meta, where he contributed to the growth of multiple verticals and held several leadership roles. His last role was Industry Head – Gaming and Education.
“After an incredible decade-long journey at Meta, I’m thrilled to share that I’ve joined Spotify as Director of Sales. As I now turn the page to this new chapter with Spotify, I’m filled with excitement and gratitude. Reflecting on his previous stint, he added, “My time at Meta has been nothing short of transformative. Over the years, I had the privilege of building and launching multiple verticals – Tech, Telco, Auto, BFSI, Travel, Health, Real Estate, Education, and Gaming – and turning them into multi-million dollar growth engines for the business.”
In his new role at Spotify, Trivedi is expected to steer revenue strategies, strengthen advertiser relationships, and enhance Spotify’s commercial presence across the region.
