IndianOil Names Saumitra Srivastava As Director (Marketing)

IndianOil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has appointed Saumitra Srivastava as its new Director (Marketing), as directed by the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas. This leadership change marks a significant step for the company’s marketing and customer engagement strategy.

Srivastava brings over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas sector, with expertise spanning downstream operations, marketing, and strategic planning. His leadership roles have included serving as State Head for Maharashtra and leading IndianOil’s Corporate Strategy Group.

In his prior role, Srivastava was instrumental in implementing transformation programmes such as SPRINT, launched in April 2025, along with initiatives like the Non-Fuel Convenience Store programme and the Dhruva Retail Transformation Project. His work has been central to enhancing customer experience and driving operational efficiency.

Srivastava has also played a key role in digitalisation and technology initiatives, reshaping IndianOil’s retail operations. He currently serves as Non-Executive Chairman of IndianOil (Mauritius) and IndianOil Petronas, and as Non-Executive Director of Lanka IOC Plc.
