PHD Media Appoints Deepak Mann as National Strategy Head in India

PHD Media, part of Omnicom Media Group, has announced the appointment of Deepak Mann as its new National Strategy Head for India. This move comes as PHD Media continues to bolster its leadership strength to drive strategic transformation and deliver growth-focused solutions for clients across the country.

Mann joins PHD Media from Nielsen, where he most recently served as Director – Marketing Effectiveness for India and Southeast Asia. In this role, he worked closely with advertisers across sectors to evaluate media performance, optimize platform and format strategies, and drive ROI through consultative engagement. He was also instrumental in onboarding new advertisers and deepening relationships with mature partners through tailored insights and solutions.

With over two decades of experience spanning insights, research, and marketing effectiveness, Deepak Mann brings deep expertise to the role. He began his career at Research International as Associate Research Manager, and later joined Amway India as Research Manager. His journey continued at Amway Corporate, USA, where he led Consumer & Market Insights (CMI) across strategic projects in categories such as nutrition & wellness, home care, and durables.

Mann also served as Regional CMI Head for Europe, India, and Africa, where he built and scaled a high-impact regional insights Centre of Excellence (CoE). His leadership helped elevate the role of insights within business strategy, driving informed decision-making and accelerating organizational growth.
