Independent full-service agency Apparent has appointed Cristina Douglas and Tom Twiby.
Cristina Douglas has been named Creative Director, Experience, a newly created role that reflects Apparent’s commitment to deepening its experience design capabilities. Cristina brings over 16 years of award-winning expertise in digital experience design, having previously served as Creative Director at R/GA. Her impressive portfolio includes work with Google, Nike, Timberland, and the Museum of Chinese in Australia, as well as a groundbreaking Web3/NFT experience for Toyota Australia’s GR-ID platform. Her work has earned accolades from the Webby Awards, Awwwards, and AGDA.
Joining alongside her is Tom Twiby, appointed as Design Director. Also joining from R/GA, Tom brings a wealth of visual design experience, having led projects for innovative clients such as Toyota, Telstra, and Google. His diverse background spans major redesigns such as Grow with Google across APAC, digital transformation initiatives for the Australian Defence Force, and product launches for neobanks in Hong Kong and ethical investing for Australian Ethical.
