Carat India CEO Sanchayeeta Verma Steps Down

Sanchayeeta Verma has stepped down from her position as Chief Executive Officer of Carat India, part of the dentsu group. While Carat India has yet to issue an official statement, multiple media sources have confirmed her departure.

Verma, who took over the reins in 2023, played a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of Carat India during a critical phase of transformation. Based in Bengaluru, she led the agency’s business expansion efforts, strengthened client partnerships, and nurtured talent within the organization.

With a career that spans nearly three decades, Verma has built her legacy across top global networks. Before her tenure at dentsu, she held senior leadership roles at Mindshare and Wavemaker under GroupM, following impactful stints at Lintas Media Group, JWT, and Kiwi TTK. Her vast portfolio includes leadership across diverse sectors—FMCG, e-commerce, tech, lifestyle, telecom, and more—working on campaigns for marquee brands like Google, Myntra, ITC, Titan, Nestlé, PepsiCo, and ICICI.

In addition to her corporate experience, Verma has been a well-respected contributor to the advertising community. She is an active member of The Advertising Club Bangalore, where she notably served as President during 2016–17, helping drive numerous industry initiatives.
