Asthana steps into the CEO role after serving as Chief Operating Officer, building on an impressive eight-year journey with the company. During his tenure, he held various key leadership positions, including General Manager, Associate Vice President, Vice President, and most recently, COO. His strategic foresight and operational acumen have been instrumental in driving Eros Group’s transformation and expansion across multiple business verticals in the UAE.
Bringing with him over 25 years of rich experience in the consumer electronics and retail sectors, Asthana has previously held leadership roles at global giants such as Samsung Electronics and Whirlpool Corporation of India. His background spans market development, sales management, and operational excellence, with deep-rooted expertise in navigating the India and Middle East markets.
As CEO, Asthana is expected to accelerate the Group’s long-term vision by deepening its digital transformation, enhancing customer engagement, and strengthening regional partnerships.
