Shubha George, Chief Client Officer, India at WPP, is stepping away from full-time work and will be departing the ad network at the end of March 2025.
Announcing her decision on LinkedIn, George shared, “At the end of this month, I will be signing out of WPP—after exactly 35 years and across seven agencies.”
Expressing her gratitude, she added,
George was appointed Chief Client Officer at WPP India in 2019. Prior to that, she served as Managing Director for Asia and CEO of India at Red Fuse Communications, WPP’s dedicated global agency for Colgate-Palmolive.
Before Red Fuse, she was CEO of MEC India, where she played a key role in handling the Colgate-Palmolive business and spearheaded the agency’s growth in digital, sports marketing, and content partnerships.
Her career also includes leadership roles at Ogilvy, JWT, Mindshare, and MEC, marking a distinguished journey in the advertising and media industry.
