Network 18 has named Sanchayan Paul as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO-Designate). Sanchayan brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the position after an illustrious 25-year career that included success in a variety of industries and roles.

After working for a variety of companies including Reliance Industries, Thomson Reuters, Eicher Consulting Services, Hutchison Essar Telecom, and Vodafone, Sanchayan joined Modenik Lifestyle, a PE-backed company. He has experience in a wide range of industries and roles. Between them, he embarked on an entrepreneurial journey and established KaryaMitr, a tech-enabled platform designed for training and skill development targeted at the traditional workplace.

Sanchayan received his undergraduate degree from Delhi University and her postgraduate degree in management from XLRI Jamshedpur. In order to further strengthen his leadership skills in the digital era, he also finished Cornell University’s Digital Business Leadership Program.
Role and responsibilities
Sanchayan will first spend a few weeks getting acquainted with the geographic, linguistic, and platform complexities of Network 18. Sakthi, who has spent the last eight years helping to build Network 18’s strong, systems-driven HR structures, will serve as his mentor during this transitional period. Currently residing in Bengaluru, Sanchayan intends to relocate to Mumbai.

News18 Studio Appoints Bobby Pawar as Creative Consultant
Bobby Pawar, a well-known adman and the former Chairman & Chief Creative Officer of Havas Group, has been appointed as a Creative Consultant by News18 Studio, the branded content division of Network18. Bobby will collaborate closely with the network’s branded content team in this capacity to drive creative projects and integrate cutting-edge approaches into brand plans.

Pawar, who has worked in advertising for more than 30 years, is well-known for his incredibly successful work for many different brands. Over the course of his remarkable career, he has won over 400 awards, solidifying his position as one of the industry’s top creative forces.
Pawar held the position of chairman and chief creative officer at Havas Group before joining News18 Studio. He is credited with revitalizing the creative reputation and financial success of Publicis and JWT India after having successful stints as a CCO in these companies. More than 400 Indian and international awards have been given to his advertising work, which was produced for US and Indian agencies.
