Taboola Expands India Presence With New Office In Gurugram

Taboola, a global leader in native advertising and content recommendation, has broadened its India operations with the launch of a new office in Gurugram. This strategic move reinforces the company’s commitment to the rapidly evolving Indian digital advertising ecosystem.

The new office was officially opened on May 27, 2025, in a closed-door ceremony attended by key global executives from Taboola. Present at the inauguration were Eldad Maniv (President and COO), Kristy Sundjaja (Chief People Officer), Chanan Fogel (VP, APAC), Aaron Rigby (Regional Director, APAC), and Harpreet Singh (Country Manager, India). The event also welcomed Reuven Azar, Israel’s Ambassador to India, as a special guest.

“India is an important market for Taboola, and over the years, we’ve seen strong adoption of our technology by both advertisers and publishers. Opening our Gurugram office is a practical step forward, it allows us to be closer to our partners and continue supporting their growth with the tools and expertise we’ve built globally,” said Eldad Maniv, President and COO, Taboola.

As part of the launch event, Taboola hosted a thought leadership roundtable titled ‘The New Media Mandate: Redefining Performance in a Platform-First World.’ The session addressed how marketers are navigating fragmented media ecosystems and redefining performance metrics beyond traditional boundaries.

Another highlight was a panel discussion: ‘From Dependency to Diversification: Shaping the Future with AI, Personalisation & Partnerships’. This featured prominent voices from India’s media landscape, including Chanan Fogel (Taboola), Sanjay Sindhwani (Indian Express Digital), Abhishek Sharma (HT Digital), and Puneet Gupt (Times Internet). The conversation explored how AI, content personalisation, and strategic collaboration are shaping the future of digital media in India.

Taboola also announced the renewal of key publisher partnerships. Its agreement with Jagran New Media, which began in April 2022, has been extended for three more years. Similarly, The Indian Express Group, a partner since 2018, has also renewed its collaboration for another three-year term, reaffirming the success of Taboola’s personalisation and monetisation solutions.

This expansion signifies Taboola’s growing role in India’s digital advertising sector, with a focus on innovation, partnerships, and local market engagement.
