The Walt Disney Company Middle East has announced that Star Channels will be re-launched. Star Channels is a fresh home for international shows and movies, tailored and curated for UAE and MENA audiences.
Star Channels will be the new home for highly regarded television series and films that have been carefully chosen to appeal to audiences in specific regions. With a diverse lineup of comedy, drama, action, adventure, and lifestyle shows in addition to popular movies from top studios, Star Channels strives to be the go-to TV place for families.
As part of the revamp, Star Channels has a new appearance and a lineup of six channels, each catering to a particular genre with the goal of offering viewers a wide variety of entertainment. The six networks consist of
The go-to channel for everything lifestyle-related, including all the best foodie picks and travel and adventure. World-renowned chefs’ cooking shows like Evolving Vegan by Mena Massoud, Jamie Oliver’s brand-new show Seasons, MasterChef Australia, and Gordon Ramsay’s Next Level Chef are among the offerings. Together with home renovation programs like “Clean it, Fix it” and “The Big Interior Battle,” the channel will also offer adventure titles like The Summit Australia and Rush Australia.

The channel will feature action-packed movies and well-known series, including Die-Hard, Taken, Man on Fire, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, and The Revenant.
The biggest blockbusters in Hollywood make their home in Tinseltown, where viewers can keep up with the latest releases. Hits including Bohemian Rhapsody, Ad Astra, and Free Guy are among the lineup of STAR Films.
The Dropout, Alaska Daily, Will Trent, 9-1-1, How to Get Away with Murder, This is Us, New Amsterdam, and other programs will be available on the STAR Series.
New classics and a selection of all-time favorites are available on STAR Movies. Stars like Julia Roberts in Wonder & Pretty Woman, Denzel Washington in Man on Fire, Ryan Reynolds in Free Guy, and Viola Davis and Emma Stone in The Help are among the cast members of these movies.
These channels will deliver reality TV and drama series straight to television screens. A wide range of popular television series, such as American Housewife, Grey’s Anatomy (S17 onwards), and True Lies, will be available at STAR World. The greatest family entertainment, such as Britain’s Got Talent and The Piano S1, will also be available.
Star Channels will offer special themed events and stunts in addition to its regular programming to suit the interests of its viewers all year long. These will include celebrations for holidays such as Father’s Day, Women’s Day, Eid, and Summer Ventures, as well as Back to School activities.
