Megan Davey, the Melbourne general manager of Initiative Media, has been promoted to the new role of head of Melbourne following the resignation of managing director Sarah James.
Davey joined the agency in 2016 and worked her way up to the positions of client director, group business director, and client partner. In her new position, she will spearhead the expansion of the company, keep it innovative with cutting-edge tactics, and keep delivering results that will change the game for clients.
Mark Coad, CEO of Mediabrands and interim CEO of Initiative ANZ, says Davey’s appointment is a testament to her ability to lead and propel Initiative’s continued expansion. Davey joined Initiative as a Client Director in 2016, marking the beginning of her tenure there. In 2023, she advanced to the position of General Manager after rising through the ranks. Her new position takes effect right away.
