Havas Play has promoted Uditvanu Das to the position of Vice President, marking another step in his more than two-decade career across sales, business development, digital and sports marketing.
Das announced the development through a LinkedIn post. He was previously Assistant Vice President at Havas Play, a position he held from June 2025 to August 2026.
Before joining Havas Play, Das served as Head of Sales and Business Development at Burman Sports from January 2024 to May 2025. Earlier, he worked with JSW Sports as Head, Talent Sales between June and December 2023.
From January 2021 to April 2023, Das was associated with Rajasthan Royals as General Manager – Partnership, where he worked across commercial partnerships and business development.
His earlier career includes a stint at Procam International, where he served as Senior Manager – Marketing and Business Development from December 2018 to January 2021. He also held the position of Assistant Vice President, Client Services and Strategy at Indigo Consulting between April and August 2017.
Das subsequently worked as Director, Brand Solutions at Sooperfly, followed by a role as Business Director at Briefkase Digital Communications. He also served as Digital Strategy Head at Skarma.
Earlier, Das was Digital Sales Manager (National) at The Walt Disney Company from April 2012 to April 2014 and Sales Producer at Yahoo from December 2011 to April 2012.
His previous experience also includes working as a Digital Strategist at Rediffusion Y&R, Product Manager for UTV World Movies at UTV, and Digital Planner at DDB Mudra Group.
With experience spanning advertising, digital, sports, entertainment and commercial partnerships, Das brings a broad understanding of sales and business development to his expanded leadership role at Havas Play.
