Gnani.ai Appoints Sriraman Ranganathan as Chief Financial Officer

Gnani.ai has announced the appointment of Sriraman Ranganathan as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO), strengthening the company’s leadership team as it continues to scale its AI-driven business operations, he announced the appointment through his Linkedin post.

In his new role, Ranganathan will be responsible for leading the company’s financial strategy and overseeing key finance functions, including financial planning and analysis, governance, compliance, capital management, and risk oversight.

Ranganathan joins Gnani.ai with more than two decades of experience spanning startups and multinational organizations across industries such as SaaS, IT services, manufacturing, and automotive.

Before joining Gnani.ai, he served as CFO at Veersa Technologies. Prior to that, he held several senior finance leadership positions at Freshworks, including Senior Director Finance and Director Finance, where he contributed to the company’s growth and financial operations.

Earlier in his career, he spent over seven years as Vice President Finance (CFO) at DataTracks, playing a key role in supporting the expansion of the company’s global SaaS business.

His professional journey also includes finance leadership and management roles at Amalgamations Valeo Clutch Private Limited, Saint-Gobain Group India, Hindustan Colas Private Limited, and Indian Railways, providing him with broad cross-sector expertise.

Throughout his career, Ranganathan has led strategic initiatives covering corporate finance, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), mergers and acquisitions, business restructuring, IPO readiness, shared services implementation, and strategic transactions. He has also supported founders and leadership teams through company sale processes, due diligence exercises, and large-scale transformation programs.

With his extensive financial and operational experience, Ranganathan is expected to play a key role in supporting Gnani.ai’s growth ambitions, strengthening financial governance, and driving long-term value creation.
