Dentsu Inc. and Dentsu Anime Solutions Inc. have officially unveiled a new global brand — dentsu anime solutions (das) — dedicated to supporting the international growth and commercialization of Japanese anime content. This strategic initiative aims to strengthen Japan’s cultural footprint across key global markets including North America, China, and Southeast Asia.
The launch of das comes in response to the surging global demand for anime, fueled by the rise of streaming platforms and cross-cultural fan engagement. The new brand will provide tailored, anime-focused marketing solutions to help Japanese companies scale internationally and assist local partners in unlocking new business opportunities.
A Strategic Move for Global Growth
Dentsu has long supported the anime sector through its Entertainment Business Centre and original content initiatives. In 2022, it launched Manga Anime Growth Partners, a cross-functional team focused on global expansion. The momentum continued with the establishment of Dentsu Anime Solutions Inc. in 2023, specializing in anime licensing and partnerships.
The newly formed das brand integrates years of domestic and international marketing experience, backed by collaborations with global tech and media leaders — including Roblox Corporation — to deliver immersive and targeted campaigns.
