In a celebration of creative mentorship and global talent-building, DDB Mudra Group has been announced as the official city host for the Mumbai edition of Portfolio Night 2025, organized by The One Club for Creativity. Set to take place on October 30, 2025, the event will simultaneously unfold across creative hubs worldwide, powered by the global sponsorship of Google.
First launched in 2003, Portfolio Night has become a cornerstone event for emerging creatives. It brings together industry veterans and aspiring professionals for an evening of feedback, learning, and opportunity. From New York to Shanghai, the event opens doors for the next generation of writers, designers, art directors, and creative technologists to receive real-time guidance from agency leaders.
This year’s edition will once again feature the highly anticipated Portfolio Night All-Stars initiative. Each participating city will select one standout portfolio whose creator will join a global team in a virtual week-long creative sprint. These All-Stars will work on a brief provided by Google, participate in mentoring sessions, and present their final work to a panel from Google Creative Lab. The winning team will be invited to attend Creative Week 2026 in New York. “What excites me most about Portfolio Night is its sheer global reach,” said Sheila Larkin, Head of Talent, Google Creative Lab. “Creativity knows no borders, and to be able to connect with aspiring talent from Auckland to Jakarta, New York to Shanghai, all on the same night – that’s truly powerful.”
For DDB Mudra, this marks a continued commitment to nurturing talent and giving back to the creative ecosystem by helping shape the industry’s future storytellers. “Portfolio Night is the only program of its kind that serves as a high-visibility opportunity for agencies, organizations, and creative professionals to give back to the industry,” said Kevin Swanepoel, CEO, The One Club for Creativity. “We’re grateful for the agencies and organisations who serve as hosts, and greatly appreciate the global support from Google that plays a key role in making it possible.”
With ticket sales slated to open in September, aspiring creatives in India and beyond are encouraged to keep an eye out for application details. The One Club is also open to additional city hosts worldwide, making this year’s event one of the most inclusive and expansive to date.
At its core, Portfolio Night is more than just a portfolio review—it’s a gateway for global collaboration, mentorship, and career-defining opportunity.
