Castrol India has named V Kaushik Vedula as its new Vice President – Marketing, with the appointment effective from 2 February 2026. Vedula will join the company’s management committee and take charge of the integrated marketing function, spanning brand building, media strategy and consumer research.
In this role, Vedula will focus on strengthening Castrol’s marketing leadership at a time when evolving media platforms, digital-first engagement models and new sales channels are reshaping how consumers interact with brands. His mandate includes driving sharper consumer relevance while reinforcing Castrol’s legacy of technology-led innovation.

Vedula brings over 20 years of experience across consumer goods, fast-moving consumer durables and digital-first businesses. Most recently, he served as Vice President – Marketing at Emami, where he led brand and business strategy across multiple categories. Earlier, he built and scaled a digital product business at Quess Corp and also ran his own B2B2C venture. His career includes leadership stints at Procter & Gamble and Nokia, covering brand management, category development, consumer marketing and multi-channel sales.
