Amazon Appoints Priyanka Khaneja Gandhi as Head of Ads Marketing for Amazon India

Amazon has appointed Priyanka Khaneja Gandhi as the new Head of Ads Marketing for Amazon India. In her new role, Gandhi will lead marketing and creative strategies for Amazon’s advertising vertical in the Indian market, bringing with her more than 25 years of experience across media, branding, and digital commerce.

Gandhi made the announcement on LinkedIn, sharing:

“I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Head of Amazon India Ads Marketing at Amazon!”

Her appointment reflects Amazon’s ongoing commitment to elevating its advertising business in India, with a strong focus on deeper engagement with brands and delivering data-driven, impactful storytelling solutions.

Before joining Amazon, Gandhi built a stellar career across agency and client-side roles. Most recently, she served at Colgate-Palmolive for 16 years, rising through various leadership roles and culminating as Associate Director & Head of Integrated Marketing Communication and E-commerce Marketing. She left Colgate in October 2023.

Her earlier roles spanned leading agencies including Madison Communications, Carat (Dentsu Aegis Network), and Starcom (Publicis Groupe), where she honed her expertise in media planning, brand strategy, and integrated marketing.

Gandhi’s appointment comes at a time when India’s digital advertising ecosystem is undergoing rapid transformation, and her wealth of experience is expected to bolster Amazon’s efforts to innovate and expand its advertising capabilities across the country.
