Mediaocean Expands Prisma Direct to Search with Microsoft Advertising Integration

LONDON, 6th NOVEMBER 2026 – Mediaocean’s Prisma, a leading system of record for global media investment, has completed its Prisma Direct integration with the Microsoft Advertising Platform. The integration enables brands and agencies to streamline media workflows, from campaign planning to reconciliation, by allowing buyers to send orders directly to Microsoft Advertising, access campaign performance data within Prisma and manage invoices electronically.
For marketers managing search alongside other media investments, the integration eliminates a familiar source of friction—entering the same campaign information across separate systems. Orders created in Prisma flow directly into the Microsoft Advertising Platform without duplicate data entry, reducing manual work and the risk of errors between planning and execution.
“Search remains one of the most important channels for marketers, yet the workflow often requires teams to move between separate planning, buying, reporting, and billing systems,” said Drew Kane, Chief Product Officer, Prisma. “By integrating the Microsoft Advertising Platform with Prisma Direct, buyers can send orders directly from the platform they already use to manage media investments, while performance data and invoices flow back automatically. The result is a more connected and efficient search buying workflow across the campaign lifecycle.”
The connection also closes the loop on campaign performance. Data flows back into Prisma automatically, giving buyers consistent, in-platform visibility into pacing and performance. With order and delivery information together in the same system, teams can monitor spend and reconcile performance without switching between platforms or manually importing data into Prisma.
The integration extends that automation to invoicing. Microsoft Advertising Platform invoices flow electronically into Prisma’s Invoices module, eliminating manual entry and reliance on third-party services while simplifying reconciliation.
“Advertisers want greater connectivity between the systems they use to plan media and the platforms where campaigns are activated,” said Yolanda Lam, GM, Global Head of Agency Development, Microsoft Advertising. “By connecting the Microsoft Advertising Platform directly with Prisma, we’re helping agencies create a more consistent workflow across campaign management, performance, and billing so they can manage their investments more efficiently.”
Initially launched to
automate direct transactions with premium media companies, Prisma Direct now brings that connected model to search, linking the systems agencies use to plan and manage media with the platforms where campaigns are executed and measured. This expansion gives agencies a more consistent way to manage media investment across channels, from planning through performance, invoicing, and reconciliation.
