Airtel has appointed Rohit Chordia as its Group Chief Strategy Officer. Chordia announced his new role through a LinkedIn post in October 2026.
He joins Airtel after serving as Director – Investments at White Oak Capital Management, where he worked from November 2020 to September 2026.
Before White Oak Capital Management, Chordia spent more than 14 years at Kotak Institutional Equities, holding several research leadership positions. From April 2016 to November 2020, he served as Executive Director and Lead Analyst, covering the telecom and consumer sectors.
Earlier, between August 2006 and March 2016, he worked as Associate Director and Senior Analyst, with coverage spanning telecom, consumer and information technology.
Chordia began his professional career at Ameriprise Financial Services, where he worked as an analyst from April 2004 to July 2006.
His appointment brings extensive experience across investment management, financial research and sector analysis to Airtel’s group leadership team.
