Seedtag has appointed Brendan McCarthy as its Chief Marketing & Communications Officer, strengthening its global leadership team as the company accelerates international growth.
In his new role, McCarthy will lead Seedtag’s worldwide marketing and communications strategy, aligning brand, messaging, and demand generation under a unified growth framework for the Neuro-Contextual advertising specialist.
With over two decades of experience in strategic marketing and communications, McCarthy has previously held leadership roles at Nielsen, Samsung, and eBay. He joins Seedtag from Criteo, where he served as Chief Marketing Officer and repositioned the business from a single-solution offering to an AI-led commerce media platform.
At Seedtag, he will focus on expanding the company’s Neuro-Contextual advertising capabilities across digital channels, including web and connected TV (CTV). He will also oversee a global team tasked with strengthening brand presence, driving demand, and integrating marketing and communications into a cohesive growth engine.
His appointment comes at a pivotal time as Seedtag continues scaling its proprietary AI platform, Liz, which has played a central role in the company’s international momentum.
“At Seedtag, we believe the future of advertising isn’t about tracking people— it’s about understanding them,” said Brian Gleason, CEO of Seedtag. “Brendan brings the rare ability to turn vision into momentum and innovation into impact. As we expand Liz and our Neuro-Contextual platform globally, his leadership will help brands connect with audiences in more meaningful, measurable ways.”
“Seedtag has proven it can disrupt the status quo with a years-long track record of rapid growth in mature advertising markets,” said McCarthy. “I’m confident we can accelerate that momentum by aligning our brand and global communications to drive even more value for our clients. We have a unique opportunity to lead the category as the premier AI-driven partner for brands that value both innovation and consumer trust.”
