Chandru Lakshminarayanan has stepped into a new, expanded role at Prime Video & Amazon MGM Studios, marking the next phase of his leadership journey with the company. He has been appointed Head of Business & Strategy for the UK, Nordics and Benelux, alongside the role of Head of International Programming (ex-APAC).
Lakshminarayanan announced the development through a LinkedIn post, sharing his enthusiasm for the opportunity.
“I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Head of Business & Strategy, UK, Nordics, Benelux | Head of International Programming (ex-APAC) at Prime Video & Amazon MGM Studios,” the post read.
Having spent over three years with the organisation, Chandru has played a key role in shaping content and programming strategy across regions. Prior to this elevation, he served as Head of Programming Strategy, EMEA, where he was instrumental in driving regional growth and strategic alignment.
In his post, Chandru also expressed excitement about continuing to collaborate with teams across Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios, while contributing to the platform’s international expansion and long-term growth ambitions.
