Saujanya Shrivastava has taken on the role of Chief Executive Officer – New Initiatives at Paytm, announcing the development via a LinkedIn post. The appointment marks a strategic move as Paytm sharpens its focus on building and scaling new growth engines.
Prior to joining Paytm, Shrivastava was associated with MakeMyTrip and GoIbibo, where he most recently served as Chief Operating Officer – Flights, Holidays, Gulf and B2B. In this role, he played a key part in overseeing complex business verticals across domestic and international markets.
With more than 25 years of leadership experience, Shrivastava is known for driving large-scale business growth, creating sustainable operating models, and unlocking new revenue opportunities. His expertise spans business strategy, organisational transformation, and building future-ready teams aligned with profitability and long-term value creation.
Earlier in his career, Shrivastava held senior leadership positions across diverse sectors. These include Chief Marketing Officer at Bharti AXA Life Insurance, Senior Vice President and Business Head at Futurebazaar.com (Future Group), and Senior Vice President and Business Head at PepsiCo, among other notable roles.
At Paytm, Shrivastava will be responsible for identifying, incubating, and scaling new initiatives, supporting the company’s broader ambition to strengthen its ecosystem and explore next-generation opportunities.
