Riya Suri Appointed Chief Marketing Manager At Samsung India

Samsung India has strengthened its marketing leadership with the appointment of Riya Suri as Chief Marketing Manager. The move marks a new phase in her career following nearly four years at vivo.

In her new role, Suri will focus on digital marketing initiatives with a strong emphasis on smartphone launches and brand-building. Her responsibilities include managing end-to-end campaigns across platforms, translating product and technology strengths into compelling consumer narratives, and working closely with agencies and internal teams to deliver consistent, high-impact output. Data-led performance tracking and optimisation will be central to her approach.

Prior to joining Samsung, Suri spent over three years at vivo, where she progressed from Assistant Manager to Manager. She led product PR for vivo India, managed crisis communications across portfolios, and built relationships with more than 300 key opinion leaders and technology media. Her role also involved collaborating with consumer insights teams to strengthen brand salience and working with cross-functional stakeholders on integrated marketing campaigns.

Earlier, Suri was associated with Cheil India for more than three and a half years, serving as Account Supervisor and Influencer Marketing Lead. There, she worked across campaign strategy, digital performance marketing, influencer programmes, content initiatives and media planning, and contributed to long-term creator advocacy efforts such as the Samsung Galaxy Creators Program.

With experience across both agency and brand environments, Suri brings a strong mix of digital, influencer-led and performance-driven marketing expertise to Samsung India.
