Lyndsey Corona has been appointed as Ogilvy’s new CEO for the United States, where she will oversee the agency’s operations across major hubs including New York, Chicago, Washington D.C., and California.

In her expanded role, Corona will take charge of the entire U.S. portfolio- spanning Advertising, PR, Social & Influence, Customer Experience, and Consulting. Her focus will be on strengthening Ogilvy’s integrated offerings, enhancing client outcomes, nurturing talent, and driving nationwide growth.

Corona will additionally serve as the executive sponsor for the Verizon account. She steps into her role on January 1, reporting directly to Laurent Ezekiel, Global CEO of The Ogilvy Group.

Laurent Ezekiel, Global CEO, The Ogilvy Group, said: “Lyndsey possesses an ability to deeply connect with our clients, grasp the complexities of their world, and orchestrate teams across our capabilities to deliver creative ideas that don’t just solve problems, but fundamentally propel businesses forward. The entrepreneurial spirit and diverse experience that she brings to this role will undoubtedly translate into exceptional value for our clients and growth for the agency as we look to its next chapter.”

Sharing her excitement, Lyndsey Corona stated, “The power of Ogilvy is all creative disciplines integrated, under one roof, led and supported by the best talent in the world. We come together to create and accelerate real topline value for our clients as a true force multiplier for their businesses. I look forward to partnering with Laurent and the team across the U.S. on this next chapter.”

Corona brings over 20 years of experience across multinational agency networks, holding companies, and emerging creative shops. She joined WPP earlier this year as Global Growth Lead for Verizon, prior to which she was President & Partner at Slap Global, where she helped secure major AOR accounts such as SeatGeek, Petco, and Eastern Mountain Sports, and doubled the agency’s revenue annually.

During her tenure, Slap Global earned accolades including Effies’ Global Independent Agency of the Year and Ad Age Small Agency of the Year for two consecutive years. Before that, she served as Chief Growth Officer at McCann North America for six years and previously held key leadership roles at TBWA New York, overseeing business development and leading global brands including Pernod Ricard and McDonald’s.
