Weber Shandwick announced the elevation of Shashikanth Someshwar to Chief Executive Officer of Weber Shandwick India, effective October 1.
With a team of more than 150 people across Mumbai, Gurgaon, and Bengaluru, India has become one of Weber Shandwick’s fastest-growing markets in Asia Pacific, supported by clients in technology, healthcare, consumer, and public affairs. Someshwar’s elevation adds to the leadership team in the region.
Someshwar has held leadership roles across corporate and consumer practices before stepping in as interim Managing Director of India earlier this year. He has been involved in driving growth, providing counsel to clients, and building teams aligned with the needs of the market.
