Publicis Groupe Indonesia Strengthens Leadership with Key Appointments

Publicis Groupe Indonesia has announced the appointment of Chetan Shetty as Managing Director, Growth, a newly created role designed to accelerate business momentum in one of the world’s fastest-growing consumer markets.

With nearly 20 years of experience across creative and media agencies, Chetan brings a strong track record in driving digital transformation and business growth. He has previously held leadership positions at McCann and FCB Jakarta as Managing Director, and at Wavemaker (GroupM) Jakarta as Partner – Content. Known for launching content divisions, building influencer practices, and delivering award-winning campaigns, Chetan will focus on delivering integrated growth for clients by unifying data, media, and content.

Alongside Chetan’s appointment, Leo Indonesia (part of Publicis Groupe Indonesia) has welcomed two acclaimed creatives to its leadership team:

  • Nadia Yuliani, Senior Creative Director, who returns to Leo Indonesia where she began her career almost 20 years ago. With vast experience across FMCG, telco, personal care, and food & beverage, Nadia has been instrumental in driving creative transformation for Southeast Asian brands. She will work closely with William Mathovani, Creative Partner at Leo Indonesia.

  • Carlos Guto Kono, Senior Creative Director, joins from Publicis Brazil and Leo Mexico. Originally from Brazil, Carlos has 25 years of global experience across FMCG, automotive, eCommerce, and food & beverage, with recognition at Cannes Lions, LIA, One Show, Effies, and The Webby Awards. He will report to Ravi Shanker, Chief Creative Officer, Leo Indonesia & Publicis Groupe Indonesia.

With a market size of over 280 million people, Indonesia represents a crucial Southeast Asian hub for Publicis Groupe. The combined leadership of Chetan, Nadia, and Carlos will further strengthen the agency’s ability to deliver creativity, innovation, and measurable growth for its expanding client base.

All three appointments are effective immediately.
