WPP Media has announced the appointment of Sushant Mishra as Growth Lead – North, bringing with him over 20 years of experience across digital media, consumer tech, quick commerce, and pet care. In this strategic role, Mishra will spearhead the Growth Cluster for the North region, focusing on delivering scalable business outcomes powered by data, technology, and AI, with a strong emphasis on the SME segment.
Mishra shared the news of his new role via LinkedIn, highlighting his commitment to advancing WPP Media’s growth vision in the region.
Prior to this, Mishra co-founded Petlicious Superfoods (July 2022 – January 2025), where he successfully built a fresh pet food brand from the ground up. Under his leadership, the business grew organically through a subscription-led model that drove strong customer retention.
Earlier, he served as Director – Digital and Head of Media at Ola Electric (July 2021 – October 2022), where he led digital transformation, scaled performance marketing, and drove significant pre-bookings and sales for the company’s EV portfolio.
From March 2019 to June 2021, Mishra was Sr. Director – Digital Marketing and Partnerships at Blinkit (formerly Grofers), where he designed and executed full-funnel marketing strategies, integrated programmatic planning, and launched alliances to accelerate growth.
He also held a long stint at Starcom MediaVest Group (June 2010 – September 2018) as Vice President and Business Head – North, leading strategic account planning and cross-platform media investments for major brands.
Mishra’s appointment underscores WPP Media’s commitment to strengthening its leadership team with seasoned experts who can drive innovation, client impact, and sustainable growth in a rapidly evolving media landscape.
