Starcom Welcomes Back Preeti Nadgar as Chief Strategy Officer

Starcom U.S. has announced the return of Preeti Nadgar as its new Chief Strategy Officer (CSO), marking her third tenure with the agency. Nadgar re-joins the organization after nearly a decade, stepping into a key leadership position previously held by Kim Einan, who departed in early 2025.

Nadgar’s journey with Starcom began in 2004, with a second term starting in 2012, during which she rose to the vice president level. Over the past several years, she has held senior strategy roles across multiple leading agencies, most recently serving as CSO at EssenceMediacom, a GroupM media agency.

In her new role, Nadgar will drive strategic excellence across Starcom’s client portfolio, contributing to transformative business solutions and team leadership as part of the agency’s C-suite, alongside U.S. CEO Shelby Saville and Chief Investment Officer Kristen Haarlow.

Speaking to ADWEEK, Nadgar shared,

“Starcom’s legacy of leadership and limitless reinvention [has] pulled me back for a third time, I look forward to solving clients’ business challenges, building diverse and dynamic teams with meaningful work.”

She also reflected on her journey in a heartfelt LinkedIn post, stating:

“Reaching for the stars, again. I’m returning to Starcom as Chief Strategy Officer. Where the spark first lit. Where the sky still calls. Where the brightest stars beckon.
Saying goodbye to EssenceMediacom. A bold, brave, breakthrough place built with brilliance, heart, and a whole lot of love.
To my Essentials—my spark-makers, soul-sharers, and story-shapers—promise me this:
When the room goes gray, be the bright one. When the brief feels flat, be the sharp one. When the path is foggy, be the sparkly one.
And to my Strat and Chat-ers, my home is always open with biryani, bourbon and a Mama Bear hug. Catch that light, yall!”

Nadgar’s return signals a continued commitment by Starcom to strategic innovation, creative leadership, and transformative client partnerships.
