IndiGo has announced the appointment of Rashmi Soni as its new Vice President – Corporate Communications. With a stellar 28-year career in corporate communications, Rashmi Soni brings a wealth of experience from leadership roles across multinational technology and aviation companies.
Rashmi joins IndiGo after her successful tenure at PayU, and has previously contributed to renowned global brands like Adobe, Tata Teleservices, Ericsson, and Hughes Software Systems (now Aricent). Notably, she was also the Vice President & Head of Corporate Communication at Vistara, where she played a pivotal role in the airline’s launch.
Rashmi’s appointment follows the decision of C. Leekha to move on from IndiGo after contributing significantly to the airline’s growth, especially during the challenging COVID-19 period. IndiGo expressed its deep gratitude to Leekha for her dedication over the past six years.
