The Trade Desk Appoints Sam Lees as Director of Client Services

The Trade Desk has announced the appointment of Sam Lees as its new Director of Client Services. With over 12 years of experience in media and ad tech, Lees brings a wealth of expertise across the media landscape, retail media, and the broader advertising ecosystem.

Prior to joining The Trade Desk, Lees served as Global GTM Lead – DSP at Amazon since 2019. Sharing his excitement about the new role on LinkedIn, Lees stated, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Director of Client Services at The Trade Desk! Excited to be part of a high-flying team on this new evolution to help brands grow!”

Lees’ career journey includes a six-year tenure at REA Group and a Learning Consultant role at SEEK Learning. He is a graduate of the University of Technology Sydney, holding a Bachelor of Business degree.

With his extensive industry experience and proven track record, Lees is well-positioned to lead client success initiatives and contribute to The Trade Desk’s ongoing growth in the ad tech sector.
