Netflix has appointed Nicolle Pangis, a former CEO of cable ad sales company Ampersand, as its new Vice President of Advertising. She will oversee U.S. and Canadian sales and answer to Amy Reinhard, the president of advertising at Netflix. Pangis used LinkedIn to announce her appointment.
Peter Naylor, the former vice president of advertisements, departed the company in July of this year. Pangis was at Ampersand for almost six years. After starting her career at 24/7 Media Inc., she later worked for Extreme Reach, GroupM, and Xaxis. She has extensive experience turning tech and traditional media businesses into cutting-edge, data-driven digital advertising firms.
Sharing her announcement on LinkedIn, Nicolle said,
“I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Vice President at Netflix Advertising!”
