Honor, a Chinese smartphone company, has awarded Group M a three-year global media strategy and media buying contract. The said contract also has an option of extending it for another year. The contract will last from 2025 to 2028. It will cover China and international markets such as the United Kingdom, Spain, France, Italy, Germany, the Nordics, Turkey, Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, and Hong Kong.
Campaign reports that Publicis, which has been in charge of media planning in each of these markets, is anticipated to transfer the country-specific planning account by the end of 2024. As per Campaign reports, the account, which includes media buying and planning, is valued at $250 million worldwide. The brand selected Group M because of its global network, capabilities, and AI technology. It aims to maximize media efficacy and efficiency.
