Mumbai, 18th October 2024: In the heart of Goa’s lush landscapes, Madison Media, a unit of Madison World, brought together 120+ senior leaders and emerging youth leaders for Futurise 2024, a three-day conference blending strategy, innovation, and entertainment. Designed to navigate today’s dynamic economic and media landscape, the event focused on collaboration and future-proofing Madison’s offerings.
Kickstarting the conference, Vikram Sakhuja, Group CEO of Madison Media & Madison OOH, shared strategic insights and a roadmap for the future, urging teams to embrace transformation. “The media landscape is changing faster than ever, and to stay ahead, we must constantly rethink, retool, and reinvent,” said Mr. Sakhuja.
Sam Balsara, Chairman, Madison World, emphasized the need for innovation, saying, “Madison has always hit a home run whenever we did something new and different. In advertising, if it’s safe, it’s risky.”
Executive Director, Lara Balsara Vajifdar, who recently completed a leadership program at Harvard, highlighted the importance of purpose and humility in leadership. “The more power you have, the more humble you should be, and the more humble you are, the more power you gain.” she noted.
Rob Norman took part in the conference to highlight the crucial importance of asking the right questions. Santosh Desai delved into the understanding of change and technology and Rebecca Maxwell, Business Relationship Consultant, The Client Relationship Company, Perth enriched discussions with actionable insights on client delight. Meta’s Saugata Bhowmik highlighted new tools and technologies for advertisers, while Madison’s tech team unveiled MFlash, an automated platform designed to enhance efficiency across operations. Group HR Head, Manish Menon shared findings from Madison’s Happyness Survey, highlighting that Madison World has been certified as ‘A Happy Place to Work.’
Leaders Vishal Chinchankar, Sunny Vohra, Dinesh Singh Rathod, and Jayesh Yagnik spotlighted Madison’s remarkable success, revealing that the company handled over 600 clients across various units in 2023-24. They emphasized the immense potential for greater collaboration between Madison’s business units.
The conference also featured the AI Sphere, an experiential zone showcasing cutting-edge AI applications such as LLMs, MidJourney and Oculus Rift.
Madison OOH’s Chief Creative Officer, Ramesh Bhaskaran and Vice President, Insights & Strategy, Pallavi Patil elevated the energy of the conference with their engaging and entertaining hosting skills. The entire conference was produced in-house by Madison Turnt.
The event concluded on a high note, with football legend Baichung Bhutia inspiring attendees on teamwork and resilience. Energized by the event, Madisonites returned with renewed focus, ready to deliver innovative solutions for clients.
