As per a regulatory filing, Rajat Jain, who is currently leading Maggi in South Asia and overseeing Nestlé India’s Foods Business, is set to assume a prominent position within the Nestlé Group. Rupali Rattan, currently BEO of chocolates and confectionery, will succeed Jain as head of the Foods Business. Since joining Nestlé India in 2004, Jain has held several positions, such as senior brand manager for Munch and Maggi, head of the Foods Business, and brand manager for Polo and Nestlé Eclairs.
Rattan’s successor as BEO of the chocolate and confectionery business is reportedly Gopichandar Jagatheesan, who is currently the BEO of the dairy business. The candidate nominated to succeed Jagatheesan as BEO of the dairy business is Manav Sahni, who is currently the category business manager for chilled dairy, RTD, and UHT. All will be promoted to Senior Management Personnel, with new positions beginning January 1, 2025.

Rupali Rattan joined Nestlé in 2019. She oversaw a sizable portfolio of confectionery brands in Sri Lanka and India during her prior job. She worked in the communications team during her first job with Nestlé India, supporting the business units in creating content inputs for core brands like MAGGI, NESCAFÉ, KITKAT, and MUNCH. She also optimized digital operations. She then relocated to KITKAT as the marketing head. She assumed leadership of the chocolate and confectionery business in 2021.
Gopichandar Jagatheesan joined Nestlé in India in 2008 and has worked across the Nestlé Group in Supply Chain, Sales, Chilled Dairy, Confectionery, and Cereals. He assumed the role of BEO for the dairy business in March 2024.
In 2022, Manav Sahni began working for Nestle. At his previous job, he worked with well-known brands, helping to launch and grow multiple new companies and brands throughout several nations. In his present position, Sahni oversees the Nescafe RTD brand as well as the Nestlé a+ brand portfolio, which includes products in the UHT milk, chilled dairy, and breakfast cereal categories.
