iProspect Names Global Client President and Global MD

Cécile Berger has been appointed as global client president by IProspect, and Amy Watt has been named global managing director. Watt, who has been iProspect’s chief strategy officer for the past 18 months, takes over for Shenda Loughnane, who was appointed Dentsu X’s global client and brand president in January.

Watt named global MD while Berger named global client president

Watt was hired concurrently with Chris Worsley’s arrival as group managing director. Wavemaker stole Worsley last year to take over as global performance lead. While a replacement is being sought, Dentsu’s Grace Letley, who oversees strategy, and Libby Darley, who oversees planning, will assume Watt’s previous duties as CSO.

Watt will work under Amanda Morrissey, global client and brand president and chief growth officer, media iProspect. She will be in charge of developing iProspect’s integrated strategic services offering as well as an agency network and brand that is connected and globally consistent. This involves owning senior client relationships, fostering growth, and leading people, processes, products, profit, and loss throughout the agency to deliver excellence on a global scale.

With eighteen years of media experience under her belt, she has worked in local, regional, and international capacities. She spent four years in the US before returning to the UK in 2016 to take on the role of global strategy client lead for Amazon. In the meantime, Berger left WPP’s Paris office, where she served as global client lead for the Coca-Cola Company’s Nutrition brands for the past two years

She will oversee the Dentsu team in France and collaborate closely with Pierre Calmard, President and CEO of Dentsu France, to expand iProspect’s clientele abroad. In addition, Berger is in charge of overseeing iProspect’s account for Kering, a luxury goods company that owns Yves Saint Laurent, Gucci, and Balenciaga. Her multifaceted expertise in branding, media, CRM, and data has been helpful in helping her clients achieve change. Her six-year tenure at WPP includes two years spent as the company’s global client lead for Chanel and two years spent as Mindshare France’s deputy managing director.
