WPP Media Strengthens Global Leadership With Appointment Of Caroline Foster Kenny And Stephanie Prager As Global Client Presidents

WPP Media has announced the appointment of Caroline Foster Kenny and Stephanie Prager as Global Client Presidents. The appointments reflect WPP Media’s commitment to driving deeper integration, growth, and innovation across its client portfolio.

Caroline Foster Kenny, a seasoned WPP executive with over 15 years at the company, returns to a senior leadership role after serving as Global Chief Client Officer at VML. She will now take charge of EssenceMediacom’s global client portfolio, bringing deep expertise in business transformation, client integration, and scaling complex, multi-market relationships.

On joining the role, Kenny is expected to play a pivotal role in enhancing collaboration across WPP’s media ecosystem. She has previously held senior leadership roles at both Wunderman Thompson and Wavemaker, and her appointment comes at a time when clients are increasingly seeking seamless solutions powered by data and creative media execution.

Joining her in the global leadership team is Stephanie Prager, who will oversee a portfolio of WPP Media’s top global accounts. Prager transitions from Publicis, where she served as Client President, and brings a wealth of digital and platform expertise to her new role.

Notably, Prager spent a decade at X (formerly Twitter), where she was instrumental in building the company’s global advertising business and diversifying its revenue streams. She also consulted with Mondelēz on their digital customer experience strategy, adding a layer of brand-side experience to her leadership.

The announcement comes at a time of broader transformation at WPP, as CEO Mark Read prepares to step down at the end of 2025 after over 30 years with the company. Read has led WPP since 2018, driving consolidation and modernization across the group. A search for his successor is already in progress. The leadership reshuffle also follows WPP’s recent rebrand of its global media division to WPP Media, marking a step toward a more unified offering. The entity manages over $60 billion in annual media investments, supporting more than 75% of the world’s top advertisers across 80+ markets.

WPP Media will continue to operate leading agency brands including Mindshare, Wavemaker, and EssenceMediacom, while providing clients with the benefits of shared infrastructure, technology, and cross-agency expertise. With Kenny and Prager stepping into key client-facing roles, WPP Media aims to accelerate innovation and deliver stronger, more connected outcomes for its global partners.
