The Weber Shandwick Collective has announced the appointment of Arpit Garg as President, Weber Shandwick India, alongside his role as Head of Weber Advisory India. Based in Mumbai, Garg took charge of the position in January 2026, marking a key leadership move for the firm in the Indian market.
Confirming the development on LinkedIn, Garg said, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as President, Weber Shandwick India and Head of Weber Advisory India at The Weber Shandwick Collective!”
Before joining Weber Shandwick, Garg spent over six years at Adfactors PR, where he most recently served as Senior Vice President. During his tenure, he co-led the firm’s Strategic Communications Group, handling corporate reputation management, strategic advisory mandates, and CXO-level engagement. His responsibilities also included driving new client acquisitions, leading leadership advisory initiatives, designing training programmes, and managing large-scale consulting assignments across India in sectors such as telecom, technology, infrastructure, e-commerce, and media.
Earlier in his career, Garg held senior leadership roles at Genesis BCW, where he managed corporate and financial communications across multiple geographies and partnered closely with top leadership on complex, high-impact mandates. He has also worked with Siemens, Vaishnavi Corporate Communications, and Concept Public Relations, building deep expertise across corporate communications, crisis management, financial communications, and integrated campaigns.
With this appointment, Weber Shandwick strengthens its leadership bench in India as it continues to expand its advisory and strategic communications capabilities.
