Vikram Karwal has announced a significant professional move, marking the conclusion of his nearly 22-year association with Mondelez and the start of a new journey with Marico.
Karwal joined Mondelez in 2004, embarking on a career that became deeply intertwined with some of India’s most iconic brands. His association with Cadbury Dairy Milk, in particular, remained especially meaningful, rooted in childhood memories and admiration for the brand. What started as a personal aspiration evolved into a long, purpose-driven career defined by learning, growth and pride.
Throughout his tenure, Karwal collaborated with a wide network of colleagues, leaders, mentors and peers who played an integral role in shaping his professional journey. He expressed heartfelt gratitude to the teams and individuals who supported him over the years, sharing that being part of the Cadbury legacy carried a sense of pride that extended well beyond the workplace.
While stepping away from an organisation that has been central to his career was an emotional decision, Karwal also shared his enthusiasm for the road ahead. He has now joined Marico, a company he has long respected for its robust brand portfolio, strong sales and marketing capabilities, focused growth strategy and ambitious vision.
As he takes on this new role, Karwal aims to contribute meaningfully to Marico’s next phase of growth, bringing with him the experience and insights gained during his two decades at Mondelez.
