With over a decade of experience in digital media, product growth, and business development, Nikhil Sharma’s elevation reflects his proven track record in driving performance, building partnerships, and scaling some of India’s most recognized digital platforms.

A Proven Leader in Digital Media Growth

Nikhil Sharma has been part of Times Internet for nearly nine years, most recently serving as Head of Business Development, where he played a pivotal role in the growth of leading products such as The Times of India (TOI), Newspoint, Gaana, ETMoney, and Haptik.

During his tenure, he spearheaded strategic partnerships with major mobile brands, ISPs, and DTH operators — including Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo, Samsung, HTC, LG, Panasonic, Airtel, Dish TV, Micromax, and Lava. He also led performance marketing and analytics initiatives across multiple digital properties, enhancing product visibility, engagement, and monetization.

A Career Built on Innovation and Impact

Before joining Times Internet, Nikhil Sharma held leadership roles in several prominent digital companies. At Hungama Digital (Music & Movies), he managed product growth, content licensing, and enterprise partnerships for Hungama’s entertainment apps.

An entrepreneur at heart, he also founded WEstaple.com, an e-commerce platform for groceries and daily essentials, where he oversaw operations, customer experience, and business strategy.

Sharma began his professional journey with Paytm, where he worked on product management and business strategy, followed by a stint at Cyfuture, focusing on process optimization and consumer behavior insights.
