The Sleep Company Appoints Udhay Shankar M As CHRO

February 2026 – The Sleep Company has announced the appointment of Udhay Shankar M as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

With over 17 years of HR leadership experience across leading retail and consumer brands, Udhaya has built and scaled high-performing teams, led large-scale HR transformations and shaped people strategies aligned closely with business growth. His expertise spans Talent Acquisition, Employee Engagement, Capability Building, Rewards and HR Analytics.

Throughout his career, Udhay has partnered closely with business and promoter leadership to redesign organizations, optimize costs and build inclusive, performance-driven cultures, ensuring sustainable and people-centric growth.

Most recently, Udhaya served as Head – HR Operations at Metro Brands Ltd, where he played a pivotal role in strengthening HR practices and people processes across the organization.
