Sydney/ Singapore – 11 March 2026: The PR Group (PRG), an Asia-Pacific strategic communications consultancy, has deepened its partnership with Australian AI healthcare company Heidi, expanding its remit across Asia-Pacific.
PRG has worked with Heidi since its early scale-up phase, including leading global communications for the company’s US$65 million Series B funding round in 2025, which valued the business at US$465 million. Under the expanded remit, PRG will now lead communications across Southeast Asia and North Asia from its Singapore hub, while continuing support in Australia and New Zealand.
The scope includes strategic communications, executive profiling, earned media, reputation and issues management, and narrative positioning to support global expansion and growth.
Across Asia-Pacific, healthcare regulators are increasing scrutiny of AI-enabled clinical solutions, with greater emphasis on governance, transparency and clinical accountability. As generative AI enters frontline care environments, companies face higher expectations around compliance, auditability and professional oversight. In this context, reputation and credibility are becoming central to adoption and long-term market access.
Caroline Shawyer, CEO of The PR Group, said: “We’ve worked with Heidi since its early days, and it’s been a privilege to support the company at every stage of its growth. As the business has scaled, so has the complexity of its communications. This expanded regional remit reflects the trust built between our teams.
In an environment of constant scrutiny, AI disruption, and an evolving news cycle, reputation can’t be managed reactively. It needs to be built, protected, and governed at the highest level. That’s where we see strategic communications adding value, embedded in leadership and enabling board-level decision-making. PRG is well equipped to support high-growth companies through reputation milestones, including market entry, stakeholder engagement, and trust-building.”
PRG’s presence supports delivery across the Singapore–Australia corridor. Engagements are senior-led and structured to provide direct access to strategic counsel, with a lean operating model designed for high-growth companies.
Emma MacKenzie, Head of Communications at Heidi, said: “PRG has been a trusted partner as we’ve scaled, bringing strategic clarity, creativity, and senior counsel at every stage. Their understanding of the communications challenges facing AI healthcare companies, responsiveness, regional expertise, and commitment to impact made expanding the partnership a natural next step, as we build out our global communications capability using APAC as a strategic hub.”
PRG advises innovators across AI, healthtech, fintech, mobility, SaaS, deeptech, and climate technology, and has strengthened its cross-border capabilities. Singapore continues to serve as a strategic launchpad for Australian companies expanding into Southeast Asia, as well as a base for global organisations building Asia-Pacific operations.
