Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has elevated Kritika Saxena—previously the Head of Corporate Communications—to the position of Head of Marketing for India. Saxena announced the move through a LinkedIn post, reflecting on her five-year journey from television journalism to the corporate landscape.
In her new role, she will be responsible for advancing TCS’s marketing strategy across India, strengthening brand visibility, and working closely with leadership teams across business units. She also expressed excitement about continuing the flagship #AcceleratingIndia campaign, which she described as “close to my heart.”
Saxena noted that her experiences across journalism and corporate communications reaffirmed her belief in the power of strong storytelling. She also highlighted that her growth within TCS reflects the organization’s commitment to nurturing internal talent and enabling career advancement.
Before joining TCS, Saxena spent 14 years at CNBC-TV18, where she worked as Chief of Bureau for Mumbai & South India and anchored several business shows including After the Bell and India Business Hour.
During her tenure as Head of Corporate Communications, she led a major restructuring of the function and launched TCS Studios, the company’s in-house production and content arm.
Kritika Saxena is also an award-winning communications leader and recipient of the prestigious Donald T. Sheehan International Scholarship from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
